Cradling the Emulator (Mobile Module)
You must cradle an ARM emulator to enable connectivity if the host computer is not connected to a network.
Complete the following steps to cradle the emulator.
- Launch the Device Emulator Manager from the General Properties page of the Mobile Target Properties dialog box. ARM emulators you receive with the Mobile Module appear under Others in the tree.
- Right-click the emulator and select Cradle from the shortcut menu.
To disconnect from ActiveSync, right-click the emulator and select Uncradle from the shortcut menu.
