Acknowledging Alarms and Events (DSC Module)
You can acknowledge alarms and events that the Alarms or Events view displays by using the Acknowledge Selected Alarm(s) or Acknowledge All Alarms dialog box.

Note When you acknowledge an event, the System Manager removes this event without logging this event to the Citadel database. |
Complete the following steps to acknowledge alarms or events by using the Alarms view or the Events view.
- Select the alarms and/or events that you want to acknowledge. You can press the <Ctrl> key and select multiple alarms and events.
- Right-click a selected alarm or event and select Acknowledge from the shortcut menu to display the Acknowledge Selected Alarm(s) dialog box.
- (Optional) Enter comments in the Comments text box.
Note Comments apply to alarms only. - Click the OK button to acknowledge the selected items and close the dialog box.

Note To acknowledge all the alarms and events at one time, you can right-click in either view and select Acknowledge All from the shortcut menu to display the Acknowledge All Alarms dialog box. Then, complete steps 3 and 4 to acknowledge all alarms and events in this view. |
