You can generate test reports in HTML, Automatic Test Markup Language (ATML), or ASCII format.
Complete the following steps to generate test reports.
Open the LabVIEW project that contains the files on which you want to perform unit testing.
Click the Project Properties button on the Project toolbar to display the Project Properties dialog box.
- Select Unit Test Framework from the Category list to display the Unit Test Framework page.
- In the Generate Reports section, place a checkmark in the checkbox of each report you want to generate.
- Click the Browse button to select a file path for each report you want to generate.
||Note If you do not select a path for the report(s), LabVIEW generates the report(s) in the same directory as the project.
- (Optional) Place a checkmark in a View report after execution checkbox to display the test report after test execution.
Click the OK button to close the dialog box and return to the Project Explorer window.
(Optional) Select File»Save if you want LabVIEW to save the report settings in the project file (.lvproj).
The next time you execute tests interactively LabVIEW generates the test report(s) you specified on the Unit Test Framework page. If a test report already exists from a previous test execution, LabVIEW replaces the existing test report.
