Owning Palette: Comparison Functions
Requires: Base Development System
Returns TRUE if char represents a white space character, such as Space, Tab, Newline, Carriage Return, Form Feed, or Vertical Tab. If char is a string, this function uses the first character in the string. If char is a number, this function interprets it as the ASCII value of a character. If char is a floating-point number, this function rounds to the nearest integer. Otherwise, the function returns FALSE.
The connector pane displays the default data types for this polymorphic function.
|char can be a scalar string or number, clusters of strings or numbers, arrays of strings or numbers, and so on.|
|space, h/v tab, cr, lf, ff? is a Boolean value of the same data type structure as char.|
Refer to the Compare Character Types VI in the labview\examples\Comparison directory for an example of using the White Space? function.
