Click the Capture Settings image on the Home tab to display the Capture Settings dialog box and select Memory Allocations from the type list to display this page.

Note  The checkbox for Memory Allocations does not contain a checkmark by default.

This page includes the following components:

  • Memory Allocations—Lists the events that LabVIEW generates when a VI allocates memory, frees the previously allocated memory, or changes memory size. If you deselect an event, the toolkit does not trace the event when you execute a trace session.
  • Memory Threshold—Specifies the memory threshold in bytes. You can use this option to avoid capturing small memory allocation events, such as allocations LabVIEW makes internally, which do not have significant impact on the application you are tracing. For example, you can use this option to ignore memory allocations of less than 1,000 bytes. To enable this option, you must select at least one event in the Memory Allocations list.
  • Select All—Selects all the events in the Memory Allocations list.
  • Deselect All—Deselects all the events in the Memory Allocations list.

Refer to the LabVIEW Help for more information about how LabVIEW allocates memory.
