Owning Palette: Starter Kit 1.0 VIs
Requires: LabVIEW Robotics Starter Kit
Begins a communication session for a simulated Starter Kit 1.0 robot.
Use this VI with the Start Simulator Service VI to begin a simulation program. Use the Close Starter Kit VI to end the communication session when you finish simulating the robot.
![]() | robot ID specifies the ID assigned to the robot in the simulation instance the Start Simulator Service VI runs. To identify the robot you want to reference, you must find and specify its ID. |
![]() | error in describes error conditions that occur before this node runs. This input provides standard error in functionality. |
![]() | simulated starter kit host 1.0 out is a reference to the communication session between the host VI and the FPGA on the robot. You can wire this output to other Starter Kit VIs. |
![]() | error out contains error information. This output provides standard error out functionality. |
You must replace this VI with the Initialize Starter Kit 1.0 (sbRIO-9631) VI before you deploy the Starter Kit application to a real robot.
Refer to the Starter Kit 1.0.lvproj in the labview\examples\robotics\Starter Kit 1.0 directory for an example of using the Initialize Simulated Starter Kit 1.0 VI.
