Syntax

axes

axes(a)

axes(name1, value1, ..., nameN, valueN)

obj = axes

obj = axes(name1, value1, ..., nameN, valueN)

Description

Generates a new plot or activates a plot you create with commands from the plots class. axes generates a new plot or uses the current plot for the next plot command. axes(a) makes a the current plot. axes(name1, value1, ..., nameN, valueN) sets the plot area attributes for the new or current plot according to the attribute names and values you specify.

Inputs

Name Description
a Specifies the reference to the plot area. If a is not a valid reference, LabVIEW returns an error.
name Specifies the name of the attribute. name is a string.
value Specifies the value of the attribute.

Outputs

Name Description
obj Returns the reference to the current plot area. obj is a reference to a plot area.
