Owning Class: polynomials
Requires: MathScript RT Module
c = polyval(a, b)
Evaluates a polynomial at values you specify. This function works element-wise for matrices.
Name | Description |
---|---|
a | Specifies the coefficients in descending order of power of the polynomial you want to evaluate. a is a vector. |
b | Specifies the values at which you want to evaluate a. b is a matrix. |
Name | Description |

c | Returns the evaluated values of a according to the following equation: c = a[1]*b^n+ ... +a[n]*b+a[n+1]*I, where n is the degree of a and I is the identity matrix. c is a matrix of the same size as b. |
