Owning Class: polynomials
Requires: MathScript RT Module
c = polyval(a, b)
Evaluates a polynomial at values you specify. This function works element-wise for matrices.
|a||Specifies the coefficients in descending order of power of the polynomial you want to evaluate. a is a vector.|
|b||Specifies the values at which you want to evaluate a. b is a matrix.|
|c||Returns the evaluated values of a according to the following equation: c = a*b^n+ ... +a[n]*b+a[n+1]*I, where n is the degree of a and I is the identity matrix. c is a matrix of the same size as b.|
The following table lists the support characteristics of this function.
|Supported in the LabVIEW Run-Time Engine||Yes|
|Supported on RT targets||Yes|
|Suitable for bounded execution times on RT||Not characterized|
A = [1, 1, 1]
B = [1, 2; 3, 4]
C = polyval(A, B)
