view_image(z)

view_image(z, [lo, hi])

view_image(file)

Description

Plots a grayscale image from a real matrix or a file. view_image can open and show an image from BMP, JPEG, or PNG format. The image size cannot exceed 4 megapixels.

Inputs

Name Description
z Specifies a real matrix to plot.
lo Specifies the minimum value of the grayscale. LabVIEW maps all elements in z that are less than or equal to lo to black.
hi Specifies the maximum value of the grayscale. LabVIEW maps all elements in z that are greater than or equal to hi to white.
file Specifies the path-to-image file you want to plot. file can be an absolute path or a path relative to the current working directory. file is a string.
