ni568x_ConfigureRangeAutoEnabled(ViSession vi, ViConstString channelName, ViBoolean rangeAutoEnabled);

Enables or disables auto-ranging on the channel specified in the channelName parameter. Auto-ranging means that the sensor firmware determines the appropriate range for sensor operation. If you disable auto-ranging, specify the range using the ni568x_ConfigureRange function.

Supported Devices: NI 5681

Name Type Description
vi ViSession Identifies your instrument session. vi is obtained from the ni568x_init or ni568x_InitWithOptions function and identifies a particular instrument session.
channelName ViConstString Specifies the name of the channel you want to configure.

The only valid value is "0".
rangeAutoEnabled ViBoolean Specifies whether the NI-568x device automatically determines the optimal measurement range of power. The NI 5680 supports only VI_FALSE for this property.

VI_TRUE (On) Auto-ranging is enabled.
VI_FALSE (Off) Auto-ranging is not enabled.
