Owning Palette: Eye Diagram Measurements VIs

Requires: Jitter Analysis Toolkit

Configures the colors you want to map to particular values in an eye diagram.

Note  This VI appears on the block diagram when you add an eye diagram to the front panel. On the Controls palette, select Addons»Jitter Analysis to navigate to the eye diagram indicator.

Details  Examples

eye diagram is the array of values between 0 and 1 that represent the intensity of the plot at locations in the eye diagram. Use the Eye Diagram Support VI to generate this array.
z-axis mapping specifies the scale to use to assign specific values in the eye diagram to colors.

0linear—Specifies to generate values on a logarithmic scale.
1logarithmic (default)—Specifies to generate values on a linear scale.
color settings is a cluster whose elements define the color scheme to use in the eye diagram.
Colormap type specifies the method to use to generate colors for the eye diagram.

0single hue - dark to light (default)—Specifies to color the waveform with the hue you specify and to scale the lightness from dark at lower values to light at higher values.
1rainbow hues—Specifies to color the waveform with a different hue at each value.
hue is the color in which you want waveform segments to display. You can use a color box constant to supply this value.
background color is the color in which you want empty areas of the eye diagram to display. You can use a color box constant to supply this value.
error in describes error conditions that occur before this node runs. This input provides standard error in functionality.
eye diagram dup returns the eye diagram unchanged.
MarkerVals is an array whose elements are (value, color) pairs that specify a value and the color to assign to that value when it appears in the eye diagram. Wire this cluster to the Marker Values[] property to assign colors to waveform segments in the eye diagram.
value is a value to be matched with a color in the eye diagram.
Color is the RGB color value to assign to locations in the eye diagram.
error out contains error information. This output provides standard error out functionality.
