Acquires memory, in the form of a buffer, from the device.

You must manually select the polymorphic instance you want to use.

The connector pane displays the default data types for this polymorphic function.

Details  Example

CUDA Context in specifies the device context in which to allocate memory.
size in elements specifies the number of elements to allocate.
error in describes error conditions that occur before this node runs. This input provides standard error in functionality.
CUDA Context out returns the device context with allocated memory.
CUDA U8 Device Ptr returns a class with access to the allocated memory. For example, wire this output to the dst in input on the Download Data VI to supply the allocated memory for the elements to update on the device.
error out contains error information. This output provides standard error out functionality.
