int32 __stdcall niWLANG_SetSTBCIndex (niWLANGenerationSession session, char channelString[], int32 STBCIndex);

Purpose

Specifies the difference between the number of space-time streams and the number of spatial streams, as defined in section 20.3.9.4.3 of IEEE Standard 802.11n-2009. The toolkit derives the number of spatial streams from the specified value of the NIWLANG_MCS_INDEX attribute. Different space-time coding schemes are defined in section 20.3.11.8.1 of IEEE Standard 802.11n-2009.

session niWLANGenerationSession Specifies the niWLAN generation session.
channelString char[] Set this parameter to "" (empty string) or NULL.
STBCIndex int32 Specifies the value of the space-time block coding (STBC) index.

The default value is 0. Valid values are 0 to 2, inclusive.

Return Value

Name Type Description
status int32 Returns the status code of this operation. The status code either indicates success or describes an error or warning condition. Examine the status code from each call to the function to determine if an error occurred.

To obtain a text description of the status code, call the niWLANG_GetErrorString function.
