Location: Browse to any device-related page for an EMSA device, such as the Devices page or a Device Dashboard page, and then select Test Panel from the View menu .

The Test Panel page allows you to temporarily display live data in the NI InsightCM web application without acquiring and storing a data set. Test panels are useful for quickly verifying hardware changes or replacements if you do not care about storing the data for future analysis. Use the following table to learn how to complete common tasks on the Test Panel page.

Task Action
Tune the device to a specific frequency and view live time domain data.
Note  Viewing live data on the Time Domain tab pauses the current spectrum sweep. The sweep resumes when you pause the live data view again.
Click the Time Domain tab and configure the options in the left side of the tab.
Tune the device to a specific frequency and record the live time domain data for audio playback.
Note  Recording live time domain data on the Audio tab pauses the current spectrum sweep. The sweep resumes when the recording finishes.
Click the Audio tab and configure the options in the left side of the tab.
View feature values in a table. Click the Feature Table tab. You can sort features by name, value, or when it last updated.
Display the trend of feature values over time for any channels configured to calculate that feature. Click the Feature Trend tab and select a data group to view feature values for in the pull-down menu in the top-left of the tab.
View the current frequency spectrum that the device is measuring. Click the Frequency Sweep tab and select a channel from the pull-down menu in the top-left of the tab.
Manually specify the y-axis scale in graphs on the Feature Trend tab. Click the Set Scale button, remove the checkmark from Auto-scale, and enter the minimum and maximum axis values.
Specify what trends you see in the graph on the Feature Trend tab. Click Select Trends on the Feature Trend tab and use the resulting dialog box to manage what trends appear in the graph.
View features for a different data group on the Feature Trend tab. Expand the Select Data Group pull-down menu and select a new data group.
View a chart with feature values for every asset on a device. Click the Feature Chart tab and select an asset from the pull-down menu in the top-left of the tab.
