Calibration Executive: Audio Calibrations dialog

  1. Select an audio notification type from the following:
    • Disable Audio Notifications—does not generate a sound when a test needs user interaction.
    • System Speaker—plays one of the three system sounds: Beep, Trill, or Chime, which you select from the Select a Sound list.
    • External Speaker—allows you to choose from any of the wave files in the Select a Sound list, or you can install your own. To add your own wave file, do one of the following:
      • Install the new file in the following location: C:\Program Files\National Instruments\Calibration Executive\Source\vi.lib\AudioNotifications\SoundFiles.
      • Browse to any file storage location. In the Select a Sound list, double-click <Browse for a file>.

The new wave file appears in the Select a Sound list.

  2. To test your audio notification, click the Play Notification button.
  3. Click OK to save your settings.
