Requires: NI InsightCM SDK

Sets the value of a map point. If the point does not exist, you can optionally create the point. Wire data to the Value input to determine the polymorphic instance to use.

Use the pull-down menu to select an instance of this VI.

Point Write

Auto Create? specifies whether to create a new map point with the specified Name and Value if a point with that name does not exist.
Map is a reference to the map on which you want to operate. Use the PointMap Create or PointMap Get VI to return this reference.
Tag specifies the name of the point on which to operate.
Value is the value to write to the point. Map points are variables, so this VI overwrites any previous value with the latest value.
error in describes error conditions that occur before this node runs. This input provides standard error in functionality.
Timestamp is a date and time to associate with the point. By default, this VI applies a timestamp of the current LabVIEW system time.
Map out returns a reference to the map.
error out contains error information. This output provides standard error out functionality.

Point Write Double
