Use the SPI VIs to control the serial peripheral interface (SPI) channels.

Palette ObjectDescription
CloseCloses the reference to a serial peripheral interface (SPI) channel. This VI also disables the SPI channel and resets the configuration of the channel.
ConfigureConfigures a serial peripheral interface (SPI) channel based on the input SPI reference and the user configurations that you specify.
OpenOpens a reference to a serial peripheral interface (SPI) channel. You must open a reference before you use an SPI channel to write data to or read data from an SPI slave device.
ReadReads a specified number of frames from a serial peripheral interface (SPI) channel. This VI returns results when all the frames are read. You use the Configure VI to specify the length of a frame.
WriteWrites data frames to a serial peripheral interface (SPI) channel. This VI returns results when finishing writing all the data frames.
Write ReadWrites and reads data frames through a serial peripheral interface (SPI) channel at the same time. The number of data frames to write equals the number of the data frames to read.
