Use the Interrupt VIs and functions to manage interrupts. You can register and unregister analog and digital input interrupts. You can also create and destroy timer interrupts.

Palette ObjectDescription
Callback VI ReferenceMaintains a static reference to a callback VI. After you place the Callback VI Reference function on the block diagram, double-click the Callback VI Reference function to display a file dialog box where you can select a callback VI.
Create Timer InterruptCreates timer interrupts.
Destroy Timer InterruptDestroys timer interrupts. After you destroy an interrupt, LabVIEW stops creating the interrupt and releases the resources associated with the interrupt.
Register Analog Input InterruptRegisters analog input interrupts.
Register Digital Input InterruptRegisters digital input interrupts.
Unregister InterruptUnregisters analog and digital input interrupts. After you unregister an interrupt, LabVIEW stops registering the interrupt.
