Intra-band Contiguous Carrier Aggregation ACP

This applies for cases where the NR subblock is immediately adjacent to the E-UTRA subblock as per Section 6.5B.2.1.3.1 of the 3GPP TS 38.521-3 specification. In the context of RFmx NR, all NR and E-UTRA must be configured within one subblock to enable this configuration. For EN-DC, the ACLR is defined as the ratio between the aggregated subblock power and the the power of the adjacent channel with the same bandwidth.

  • Measurement bandwidth of EN-DC channel: 1.00 * ENBW
  • Measurement bandwidth of offset channel: 0.95 * ENBW
  • Frequency offset with respect to the center of the aggregated subblock: ENBW and -ENBW
Where ENBW denotes the sum of the subblock bandwidths.

RFmx NR measures one EN-DC offset by default.

Intra-band Non-Contiguous Carrier Aggregation ACP

The ACLR for intra-band non-contiguous EN-DC is defined as the ratio of the subblock power to the power of the adjacent channel at nominal spacing. In case the subblock gap is smaller than the measurement bandwidth of the offset channel, ACLR is not measured. The measurement bandwidth for the E-UTRA subblock is defined in the 3GPP 36.521 specification and for the NR subblock is defined in the 3GPP 38.521-1 specification.

RFmx NR measures one EN-DC offset by default.
