Formula VIs

Use the Formula VIs to parse formulas, which are in the form of a string, and convert the formula strings to a form that can be used for evaluating results.

Note  Many Formula VIs are available only in the LabVIEW Full and Professional Development Systems. If you have the LabVIEW Base Package, you do not have the full set of the Formula VIs described in this help file. A subset of the Formula VIs is available in the LabVIEW Base Package.

The VIs and functions on this palette can return general LabVIEW error codes, specific formula parsing error codes, specific MATLAB and Xmath Script error codes, or specific mathematics error codes.
