Cameras in Machine Vision

Overview

Today’s cameras cover different technologies, various interfaces, and a wide variety of applications. This presentation explains the different sensors, like CCD and CMOS, will list today’s interfaces as FireWire, USB, GigE, and Camera Link, and how they can be used with a common software. Depending on the application an area scan camera or a line scan camera is first choice.
