NI LabVIEW Real-Time Module 8.6: CompactRIO Scan Mode under the Hood
Overview
LabVIEW Real-Time Module 8.6 introduced a new NI CompactRIO programming paradigm that reduces development time and provides immediate access to single-point I/O at up to 1 kHz without field-programmable gate array (FPGA) programming, as well as high-speed counter, PWM, and quadrature encoder inputs without any programming. This webcast takes an "under-the-hood" look at the scan mode architecture to understand how it works, how to use it, and how to combine the new features with the ability to open the FPGA and program it directly for decision making in hardware, custom triggering and protocols, off-loading signal processing and analysis from the CPU, and more.
