Bioinstrumentation 101 with NI LabVIEW, NI ELVIS and NI Multisim
Overview
Bioinstrumentation, a core course for biomedical engineering majors requires students to design, simulate, and prototype components found in major medical devices such as an instrumentation amplifier or interfacing with sensors. In the introductory webcast of this series, educators will learn about using Graphical System Design techniques using NI LabVIEW, the leading graphical programming environment. Educators will witness how to design and simulate Physiological systems such an ECG waveform simulator in LabVIEW. They will also get a brief introduction to the Electronics Education platform, which includes the NI ELVIS design and prototyping environment and NI Multisim SPICE Simulation and Schematic Capture environment.
