LabVIEW Virtual User Group: LabVIEW 8.5 Development Tools for Preventing and Correcting VI Cross-Linking (All Levels)
Overview
VI cross-linking occurs when a VI in memory references a different subVI than the one it was last saved with (in other words, one that the user did not intend to reference). For example, a LabVIEW application may accidentally link to an earlier revision or separate branch of the same code stored, causing unexpected behavior that is difficult to debug. Attend this live webcast to see in-depth demonstrations on new LabVIEW 8.5 tools that help users diagnose, prevent and correct VI cross-linking.
