Ethernet Expansion I/O from Any PC or PAC

Overview

In this short tutorial you are going to learn about new Expansion I/O hardware from National Instruments that provides Ethernet or serial Expansion I/O from any PC or PAC. This tutorial is divided into two sections, and you can choose to view the sections that apply to your application. In Part 1 we will discuss how to add Expansion I/O to a PC system from the cFP-1808 network interface and then demo accessing this I/O with LabVIEW. In Part 2 we will discuss how to add Expansion I/O from a PAC and demo how to add I/O on Compact FieldPoint Real-Time controllers and CompactRIO.
