Overview

The new LabVIEW 2009 shared variable makes it easier than ever to integrate applications based on LabVIEW into your existing architecture. The LabVIEW 2009 shared variable engine — the feature that manages all of the shared variable communication — is an OPC 2.x and 3.0 client. Additionally, the LabVIEW 2009 DSC Module adds OPC 2.x and 3.0 server support and a Modbus TCP I/O server, so you can read and write to OPC- and Modbus TCP-compliant hardware.
