|Download Help (Windows Only)|
The following table lists the name and contents of each subdirectory of the <TestStand Public> directory, which contains modifications, customizations, and other files you can directly edit.
|AdapterSupport||Support files for the LabVIEW and LabWindows/CVI Adapters.|
|CodeTemplates||Empty by default. You can store modified source code templates for step types, or code templates you create.|
|Components||Placeholder subdirectories for modified TestStand components and components you develop, including callback files, language files, process model files, run-time servers, type palette files, and TestStand Sequence Analyzer analysis modules for custom rules you create. TestStand installs the default sequences, executables, project files, and source files for components in the <TestStand>\Components directory.|
|Examples||Example sequences and tests. Most example sequences that use VIs call subVIs in the <LabVIEW>\vi.lib directory, which you can access after you install LabVIEW.|
|RuntimeServers||Contains example legacy source code for building a LabVIEW run-time application for executing LabVIEW-based code modules on a computer on which you have not installed the LabVIEW development system.
Use the LabVIEW Adapter Configuration dialog box to configure the LabVIEW Adapter to use LabVIEW executables built with an ActiveX server enabled.
|Setup||Support files for the TestStand installer.|
|Tutorial||Sequences and code modules you use in tutorials the Getting Started with TestStand manual and the NI TestStand Evaluation Guide. This directory also contains a Solution subdirectory that contains completed versions of the tutorial files.|
|UserInterfaces||Copies of the LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, Microsoft Visual Basic, C#, and C++ (MFC) user interfaces with source code installed in the <TestStand>\UserInterfaces directory.|
