Files Pane

Use the Files pane to specify which files to analyze. The Files pane contains the following sections:

  • Workspace File to Analyze—Path of the workspace file to analyze. The TestStand Sequence Analyzer analyzes all the sequence files in the workspace file. Use the Sequence Files to Analyze section to select individual sequence files to analyze. You can analyze only one workspace file at a time.
  • Sequence Files to Analyze—List of paths of sequence files to analyze in the order listed. You can drag and drop files to reorder them. The sequence analyzer ignores duplicate entries. When you use expressions in Sequence Call steps to call sequence files, you must add each file to the Sequence Files to Analyze section separately.
  • Directories to Analyze—List of directories to analyze. The sequence analyzer analyzes all the sequence files in each directory. Place a checkmark in the option in the Analyze Files in Subdirectories column located to the right of the directory path to analyze all the sequence files in all subdirectories.
  • TestStand Files to Analyze—Additional files to analyze. This section contains the following options:
    • NI Type Palettes—Enable this option to analyze the NI type palettes located in the <TestStand>\Components\TypePalettes directory in the same order as they appear in the Types window in the TestStand Sequence Editor.
    • Public Type Palettes—Enable this option to analyze the public type palettes located in the <TestStand Public>\Components\TypePalettes directory in the same order as they appear in the Types window in the sequence editor.
    • Station Globals—Enable this option to analyze the StationGlobals.ini file, located in the <TestStand Application Data>\Cfg directory.
    • Templates File—Enable this option to analyze the Templates.ini file, located in the <TestStand Application Data>\Cfg directory.
    • Users File—Enable this option to analyze the Users.ini file, located in the <TestStand Application Data>\Cfg directory.
