Short Name: Reference Clock Source
Property of niFgen
Specifies the Reference Clock source used by the signal generator.
The signal generator derives the frequencies and sample rates that it uses to generate waveforms from the source you specify. For example, when you set this property to Clock In, the signal generator uses the signal it receives at its CLK In front panel connector as its Reference Clock.
|Note The signal generator must not be in the Generating state when you change this property. To change the device configuration, call the niFgen Abort Generation VI or wait for the generation to complete.|
Specifies that a Reference Clock is not used.
|PXI Clock (PXI_Clk)||
Specifies the PXI Clock is used as the Reference Clock source.
|Clock In (ClkIn)||
Specifies that the CLK IN input signal from the front panel connector is used as the Reference Clock source.
|Onboard Reference Clock (OnboardRefClk)||
Specifies that the onboard Reference Clock is used as the Reference Clock source.
|RTSI 7 (RTSI7)||
Specifies that the RTSI line 7 is used as the Reference Clock source.
