*You can get the value of this characteristic by calling a query function or by reading an attribute. NI recommends that your programs query or read the characteristic rather than depend on a certain value.

1Varies by waveform generator and the amount of memory. Memory use is a function of the number and size of waveforms and (in Arbitrary Sequence mode) the number and length of sequences. Typically, waveforms use most of the memory, but if you have a very large number of sequences, the available waveform memory is reduced.

2External calibration functions and steps vary by waveform generator. Refer to the calibration procedure for your waveform generator for more information.

4The niFgen Get Ext Cal Last Temp VI and niFgen Restore Last Ext Cal Constants VI are not supported.

6Synchronization with NI-TClk is supported with a single NI-FGEN session per waveform generator. Synchronization with NI-TClk is not supported with multiple channel-based NI-FGEN sessions to a single multichannel waveform generator.
