NI-DCPower (English | Japanese)
Installed With: NI-DCPower

Returns an array of voltage measurements, an array of current measurements, and an array of compliance measurements that were previously taken and are stored in the niDCPower buffer.

This VI should not be used when the Measure When property is configured to On Demand. You must first call niDCPower Initiate before calling this VI.

Note  This VI is not supported by all devices. Refer to Supported VIs by Device for information about supported devices.

Refer to the Acquiring Measurements and Compliance topics in the NI DC Power Supplies and SMUs Help for more information about configuring this VI.

niDCPower Fetch Multiple

instrument handle identifies a particular instrument session. instrument handle is obtained from the niDCPower Initialize With Channels VI.

/images/reference/en-XX/help/370736U-01/cstr.gif

channel name specifies the output channel from which to fetch data. You can only fetch data from one channel at a time.

/images/reference/en-XX/help/370736U-01/ci32.gif

count (1) specifies the number of measurements to fetch.

/images/reference/en-XX/help/370736U-01/cdbl.gif

timeout (sec) specifies the maximum time allowed for this VI to complete, in seconds. If the VI does not complete within this time interval, NI-DCPower returns an error.

Note  When setting the timeout interval, ensure you take into account any triggers so that the timeout interval is long enough for your application.

error in (no error) describes error conditions that occur before this node runs. This input provides standard error in functionality.

/images/reference/en-XX/help/370736U-01/cbool.gif

status is TRUE (X) if an error occurred before this VI ran or FALSE (checkmark) to indicate a warning or that no error occurred before this VI ran. The default is FALSE.

/images/reference/en-XX/help/370736U-01/ci32.gif

code is the error or warning code. The default is 0. If status is TRUE, code is a non-zero error code. If status is FALSE, code is 0 or a warning code.

/images/reference/en-XX/help/370736U-01/cstr.gif

source describes the origin of the error or warning and is, in most cases, the name of the VI that produced the error or warning. The default is an empty string.

/images/reference/en-XX/help/370736U-01/iio.gif

instrument handle out passes the handle used to identify the session in all subsequent NI-DCPower VI calls.

/images/reference/en-XX/help/370736U-01/ii32.gif

actual count indicates the number of measured values actually retrieved from the device.

/images/reference/en-XX/help/370736U-01/i1ddbl.gif

voltage measurements returns an array of voltage measurements.

/images/reference/en-XX/help/370736U-01/i1ddbl.gif

current measurements returns an array of current measurements. The measurements in the array are returned in the same order as the channels specified in channel name.

/images/reference/en-XX/help/370736U-01/i1dbool.gif

in compliance returns an array of Boolean values indicating whether the output was in compliance at the time the measurement was taken.

/images/reference/en-XX/help/370736U-01/ierrcodeclst.gif

error out contains error information. This output provides standard error out functionality.

/images/reference/en-XX/help/370736U-01/ibool.gif

status is TRUE (X) if an error occurred or FALSE (checkmark) to indicate a warning or that no error occurred.

/images/reference/en-XX/help/370736U-01/ii32.gif

code is the error or warning code. If status is TRUE, code is a non-zero error code. If status is FALSE, code is 0 or a warning code.

/images/reference/en-XX/help/370736U-01/istr.gif

source describes the origin of the error or warning and is, in most cases, the name of the VI that produced the error or warning.
