Use this dialog box for an overview of which DataPlugins work with which filename extensions and which files the DataFinder therefore includes in a search. Enable a DataPlugin in this dialog box so that a DataFinder can use the DataPlugin.
|DataPlugin name||Displays the DataPlugin name.|
|Filename extension||Displays the filename extension associated with the selected DataPlugin.|
|Import||Opens the dialog box where you load a DataFinder configuration (*.dfc).|
|Export||Opens the dialog box where you save the My DataFinder current configuration settings.|
|Select all DataPlugins||Selects all DataPlugins.|
|Deselect All||Deselects all DataPlugins.|
|Reindex DataPlugin||Reindexes all files which are loaded with the selected DataPlugins. For example, reindex data if you previously changed the associated DataPlugin.|
|Note Use the DataPlugin Settings dialog box to add a filename extension to a DataPlugin.|
DataPlugins with filename extensions that the DataFinder includes in the search, are ticked. If a DataPlugin has a tick with a gray background, you cannot disable this DataPlugin, because the DataFinder always includes the filename extension of the DataPlugin. You can disable DataPlugins that have a tick with a white background. The DataFinder no longer includes the filename extensions of these DataPlugins in the search, and you can no longer search for the contents of files from this DataPlugin.
If a DataPlugin has only a gray checkbox, the DataFinder includes the associated filename extensions in the search. However, these files do not correspond to the TDM data model, so the DataFinder cannot search for properties of groups or channels; the DataFinder can only search for file properties.
