Use this dialog box to specify the properties of the columns in a table in the dialog editor. Click Columns in the Properties tab to modify the properties of the table columns in the dialog editor..

The contents of a table can be read from or written into vector or matrix variables. In vector variables, each column in the table represents a vector. In matrix variables, you can use the table property VerticalOrientation to specify whether DIAdem fills table columns rowwise or columnwise.

Columns Displays an overview of all the columns in the table.
Title Specifies the column title.
Column width Specifies the column width.
Read-only Specifies that the cells can be edited.
Column type Specifies whether cells appear as edit boxes or selection boxes (read-only).
Variable Specifies the vector variable or the matrix variable for a column. You can enter the variable name or select the variable name from the list. If you enter the variable name, DIAdem automatically opens the dialog box for Variable definitions.
Variable length Specifies the number of variable elements.
Offset Specifies the index that the column display starts at.
Row/column Matrix variable: specifies whether the column or the row of a matrix is used.
Index Matrix variable: specifies the displayed columns or rows within a matrix.
New Entry Adds a column.

Delete Deletes a column.
Up/Down Moves a column.
Cells Specifies the value of table cells.
Note  The Columns property returns the total of all the columns.
Note  If you use the row and column to specify the position, you refer to the original table order. The order remains unchanged when you move columns or rows interactively, or when you use the Swap method. The DisplayedLocation property contains the position where the row or column is displayed in the table.
