Use the advanced search in DIAdem NAVIGATOR to execute multiple search conditions with OR. For example, to search for files, groups, or channels of which the DataPlugin name file property contains the value TDM or the value TDMS, complete the following steps:

  1. Select DIAdem NAVIGATOR.

  2. Click the Advanced Search button at the top right.

  3. Select the selection term File under Level in the search input area, to search for the property of a file.

  4. Select DataPlugin name as the Property.

  5. Select = as the Operator.

  6. Enter TDM as the Value.

  7. Click the second line of the search input area.

  8. Select the Level File.

  9. Select DataPlugin name as the Property.

  10. Select = as the Operator.

  11. Enter TDMS as the Value.

  12. Click the logic line.

  13. Change the contents of the logic line from C1 AND C2 to C1 OR C2.

  14. Click Search Channels, Search Groups, or Search Files, to start the search. DIAdem displays the results in a search result list. You can drag and drop the search results into the Data Portal.

Note  You can also execute the described search if you generate a search condition with the Value TDM OR TDMS.
