Use the DataFinder server to use the DataFinder of another computer in the network. For example, to create and to open a DataFinder server, complete the following steps:
Select DIAdem NAVIGATOR.
Select Settings»DataFinder Server.
Click the Create DataFinder Server symbol.
Enter the name of the DataFinder server.
Select the name of the computer where you want to run the search.
|Note You do not need to enter back slashes (\\) in front of the computer name.|
Enter a name for the DataFinder.
Specify the maximum time to search for and to connect to the other computer.
Select the new DataFinder server.
Click Open. DIAdem displays the search areas of the other computer.
