Specifies the format in which the channels appear in the channel selection list.

The following settings are possible:
0 - Auto Same display as in DIAdem.
1 - groupname/channelname Displays the group name and the channel name.
Use this setting if the channel groups and the channels have different names and the channel reference is only clear if you have both names.
2 - [groupindex]/channelname Displays the group index and the channel name.
Use this setting if you do not know the names of the channel groups, but the names of the channels are the same in different channel groups.
3 - groupname/[channelindex] Displays the group name and the channel index.
Use this setting if you do not know the names of the channels, but the indexes of the channels are the same in different channel groups.
4 - [groupindex]/[channelindex] Displays the group index and the channel index.
Use this setting if you do not know the names of the channel groups and the channels, but the indexes of the channels are the same in different channel groups.
5 - channelname only Displays the channel name.
Use this setting if the Data Portal has only one channel group or if the channel references have to be compatible with earlier DIAdem versions.

The following example specifies that the ChnComboBox1 channel selection list only displays the channel name:

ChnComboBox1.Syntax = 5 'channelname only

Use

You can change this property on the Properties tab when you create user dialog boxes.
You can use this property in scripts during user dialog box runtime.
