After NI Web-based Configuration & Monitoring is installed on a remote device, such as an RT target, you can use a Web browser to monitor and configure the device.
(Real-Time Module) Use the LabVIEW Real-Time Software Wizard in NI Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) to determine whether NI Web-based Configuration & Monitoring is installed on an RT target and to install the software if necessary.

Note You must install Microsoft Silverlight to use NI Web-based Configuration & Monitoring. If you have not installed Microsoft Silverlight, NI Web-based Configuration & Monitoring prompts you to do so. |

NI Web-based Configuration & Monitoring uses a permission-based security model. By default, each remote device includes a single user with the following name and password:

Note The Password field is case-sensitive. (NI Linux Real-Time) You must change your password to a non-blank password to log in using SSH or a serial connection. |
