Owning Palette: Scaling VIs

Requires: FPGA Interface

Converts the period output, expressed in samples, from the Analog Period Measurement Express VI to a period in units of seconds using the sample rate you specify. This VI also returns the frequency of the measurement in hertz using the sample rate you specify. Use the Scale Period VI in a host VI.

period (S) specifies the measured period in units of samples. period (S) is an unsigned fixed-point number with a word length of 32 bits and an integer word length of 16 bits. period (S) does not include an overflow status.
sample rate (S/s) specifies the sampling rate for the analog period measurement. Use the actual sample rate (S/s) output from the Sample Rate To Loop Time VI to obtain the sampling rate.
error in describes error conditions that occur before this node runs. This input provides standard error in functionality.
period (s) returns the period in units of seconds.
frequency (Hz) returns the frequency in units of hertz.
error out contains error information. This output provides standard error out functionality.
