Applying a filter can affect coverage ratios, the export of analysis results to external applications and report generation. Requirements Gateway includes only the non-filtered results in reports. When you attempt to generate a report with a filter applied to the project, Requirements Gateway launches a dialog box to inform you that a filter is applied and prompts you to confirm whether you want to proceed with the filter applied or cancel and remove the filter.
If you filter an attribute a custom type defines, Requirements Gateway filters only the requirements contained in documents of the type.
