Complete the following steps to create attributes and insert the attributes to a Microsoft Word source file.

Creating Attributes

In the Tagger dialog box, complete the following steps to create an attribute.

  1. Click New attribute to display the Attribute type dialog box.
  2. Define the new attribute in the Attribute type dialog box.
  3. Click OK to close the Attribute type dialog box.

Inserting Attributes into a Word Source File

In the Tagger dialog box, complete the following steps to create an attribute.

  1. Select a requirement or entity from the Requirements and entities list.
  2. On the Attributes and references tab, assign a value to the attribute you created.
    Note Note  You can only specify the values for attributes that you create in the Tagger dialog box.
  3. Click Save in the Tagger dialog box. Requirements Gateway updates the requirements, entities, attributes, and attributes values.
  4. Click Insert added attributes in the Tagger dialog box.
  5. Click Yes in the dialog box that appears to confirm that you want to change existing attribute values.
  6. In the Word source file, review the attributes and values you inserted.
