Use the NI-RFSA Calibration VIs to access calibration features and external alignment features of NI-RFSA.
|niRFSA Init Ext Cal||
Creates and initializes a special NI-RFSA external calibration session. The instrument handle returned is an NI-RFSA session that you can use to configure the device using normal properties and VIs. However, NI-RFSA sets flags that allow you to program an external calibration procedure using the calibration properties and VIs.
|niRFSA Close Ext Cal||
Closes an NI-RFSA external calibration session and, if specified, stores the new calibration constants and calibration data, such as time and temperature, in the onboard EEPROM.
|niRFSA Self Cal||
Self-calibrates the NI-RFSA device and associated modules that support self-calibration. If self-calibration completes successfully, the new calibration constants are stored immediately to the nonvolatile memory of the module. Refer to the specifications document for your device for more information about how often to self-calibrate.
For best results, NI recommends that you perform a complete self-calibration without omitting any steps. However, if the niRFSA Is Self Cal Valid VI indicates that the calibration data for a specific step is still valid, you can omit that step for faster execution.
|niRFSA Self Calibrate Range||
Self-calibrates all configurations within the specified frequency and reference level limits.
NI recommends that no external signals are present on the RF In port while the calibration is taking place.
|niRFSA Is Self Cal Valid||
Returns an array to indicate which calibration steps contain valid calibration data. To omit steps with valid calibration data from self-calibration, you can pass the valid steps output to the steps to omit input on the niRFSA Self Cal VI.
|niRFSA Initialize External Alignment||
Creates and initializes a special NI-RFSA external alignment session.
|niRFSA Close External Alignment||
Closes an NI-RFSA external alignment session and, if specified, stores the new external alignment constants and data, such as time and temperature, in the onboard EEPROM.

Use the NI-RFSA Calibration Utility VIs to access calibration utility features of NI-RFSA.
