Owning Palette: Sound and Vibration VIs
Use the File I/O VIs to save and load dynamic signals and measurement results. Use these VIs to read data from and write data to .tdms files and UFF58 files. Use these VIs with the standard File I/O VIs and functions to add custom properties, customize a file format, and write VIs to convert between file formats.
Refer to the labview\examples\Sound and Vibration directory for an example of using the File I/O VIs.
|TDMS VIs||Use the TDMS VIs to read data from and write data to .tdms files. These VIs save acquisition and analysis information to channel properties that you can retrieve and process with the data channel. The .tdms format is suitable for streaming signals as well as block-based measurements.|
|UFF58 ASCII VIs||Use the UFF58 ASCII File I/O VIs to write ASCII UFF58 (universal file format) files. Each UFF58 file consists of one or more functions. Each function contains 12 records. Records 1-11 form the function header, and record 12 is the function data. Use the UFF58b VIs to read both binary and ASCII files.|
