Owning Palette: Serial Compatibility VIs
Requires: Embedded Module for ARM Microcontrollers, Mobile Module, or Touch Panel Module
Writes the data in string to write to the serial port indicated in port number.

If the number of characters in string to write is greater than the value of the buffer size input in the Serial Port Init VI, the Serial Port Write VI writes the number of characters equal to the buffer size input to the serial port. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() | error code is the error or warning code. If error code is nonzero, an error occurred. You can wire error code to one of the error handler VIs, which describe the error and give you options on how to proceed when an error occurs. |
