In the IO Module Properties dialog box, select Status from the Category list to display this page.
Use this page to see the status information of the installed adapter module. Because this property page communicates directly with hardware, you must have a proper RIO resource name configured for the FlexRIO device. You can configure the RIO resource name by configuring the Resource property on the FPGA target item.
This page contains the following components:
- Expected IO Module—Displays the manufacturer and model name of the adapter module that the FPGA firmware is currently expecting to use, based upon the current program that is downloaded to the FPGA. This control is only updated each time a new program is downloaded to the FPGA.
- Status—Displays general information about the hardware state, including which adapter module is currently inserted and the state of the adapter module power.
- Enable IO Module Power—This control enables or disables power to the installed adapter module interface. NI highly recommends that you ensure that adapter module power is disabled before swapping out adapter modules. Notice that power can only be enabled if the inserted and expected adapter modules match. Therefore, the Enable IO Module Power control can only be used when the inserted and expected adapter modules are the same.
