Use the Time Frequency Spectrogram VIs to compute the quadratic energy distribution of the signal in the joint time-frequency domain.

The VIs on this palette can return general LabVIEW error codes or specific Time Frequency Analysis error codes.

TFA Adaptive SpectrogramDecomposes the signal into a linear combination of Gaussian chirplet elementary functions and sums the Wigner-Ville Distribution (WVD) of all the Gaussian chirplet elementary functions to compute the quadratic time-frequency representation of signal. Use this VI if the signal contains Gaussian chirps. Wire data to the signal input to determine the polymorphic instance to use or manually select the instance.
TFA Choi-Williams DistributionComputes the Choi-Williams Distribution (CWD) of signal. Wire data to the signal input to determine the polymorphic instance to use or manually select the instance.
TFA CohenComputes the Cohen's class time-frequency distribution of signal. kernel controls the properties of the resulting spectrogram. Wire data to the signal input to determine the polymorphic instance to use or manually select the instance.
