You can configure NI VeriStand to apply initial values for model parameters whenever a system definition file deploys. The initial values must be saved in a .txt file and formatted according to the syntax that NI VeriStand supports. By using this feature, you can ensure changes to the parameters occur before the model runs.

To select the text file that contains model parameter values you want NI VeriStand to apply during deployment, select the Simulation Models node in the System Explorer configuration tree and configure the paths to the parameter file and any dependent files. You can select only one model parameter file that NI VeriStand applies to any models on the target that contain matching parameters. However, the main model parameter file can call subscripts saved in separate files.
