The ATML TD translator translates all instances of <Extension> elements that exist at any level under the <DetailedTestInformation> element in the TD source file. For example, an <Extension> element might exist as a direct child element of the <DetailedTestInformation> element or as a child element of the <Action> or <TestGroup> element.

In each case, the translator translates the <Extension> element as a container file global variable named FileGlobals.Extensions that contains one string element per <Extension> element. The value of the string is an XPath expression from the root element to the <Extension> element. The comment of the string contains the complete <Extension> element in XML format.

Incremental Update  The translator updates the FileGlobals.Extensions container file global variable if you modify an <Extension> element in the source TD instance document.
