<Initialization> Element

The ATML TD translator creates a step as the last step in the Setup step group of the translated sequence for a <TestGroup>/<Initialization> element.

The translated step corresponds to the <Initialization>/<DetailedDescription>, <ActionReference>, or <Step>/<TestGroupReference> element. The translator creates a different step type for the Setup step depending on the element to which the step corresponds, as the following table describes.

Element to Which Step Corresponds	Translator Behavior
<Initialization>/<DetailedDescription>	The translator creates a Label step in the Setup step group and translates the content of the <DetailedDescription> element as the description of the Label step. Completing the Partial Test Program  You must implement the logic the Label step description describes. Refer to the post-translation recommended actions section of the log file for more information about how you can implement the logic the <DetailedDescription> element describes Incremental Update  The translator updates the step in the Setup step group that corresponds to the <Initialization> element if you modify the <Initialization>/<DetailedDescription> element in the source TD instance document.
<ActionReference>	The <ActionReference> element contains an actionID attribute that refers to an <Action> element. <Step>/<TestGroupReference>	The <TestGroupReference> element contains a testGroupID attribute that refers to a <TestGroup> element. The translator creates a Sequence Call step that refers to the sequence translated for the <TestGroup> element. The translator passes default values for all the parameters in the Sequence Call step.
